The first change to come with this update is the addition of a new burgage plot level, introduced as level three, which comes complete with new models, requirements, and effects. Because of this, the previous level three plot aesthetic has been moved to level 4 with updated requirements and effects as well. This also brings an update to progression, moving to a family-based progression system where settlement level is determined by checking for families of a certain level rather than burgage plots.A new map was also introduced in this update, Twin Lakes, which is available for players to explore, conquer, and build their perfect medieval city on. There was also an update to battlefields, increasing visibility of all squads on a battlefield, as well as a new proximity system that gradually shrinks the area where units are considered to be participating on a battlefield. Make sure to check out the full patch notes here for this update as we can't fit all the balance and minor additions here. Beta version 0.8.078 was the first beta branch to be introduced after the previous update. This beta branch focuses on bettering the pathfinding system, causing fewer unit collisions, and adding a proper "island" system that rejects paths between enclosed zones such as Manor castles. This beta branch also brings a host of minor changes and bug fixes as it progresses towards the main branch. Beta version 0.8.083 is the next version of the beta branch, continuing the work of the previous branch, further improving collision avoidance, especially between people performing actions that block the way or walking in front of a diseased person. This version also makes improvements to worker interactions with handcarts, including a new animation when carts are being loaded and a change to pasture space to be determined by area and not the length of the pasture wall. Beta version 0.8.086 is the latest version of the beta branch to be released, continuing the work on unit collision, completely reworking the cart system so characters use capsules that combine with the cart capsule rather than being two entities, which was causing rare but fatal cases of workers getting stuck. This update also allows players to select buildings that have ended up inside the Manor area, although this is temporary until town walls are ready. Thanks for reading.~The Hooded Horse Team
